DOUBLE OAKED IS BACK

COLUMBUS, OH — High Bank’s Whiskey War Double Oaked is back with Batch #3.

Whiskey War Double Oaked is the award-winning Whiskey War Barrel Proof, given a second maturation in a brand new charred oak barrel for an additional 16 months. Double Oaked Batch #2 recently received recognition with a Gold from the John Barleycorn Awards, Best American Blended Whiskey at the Sunset Int. Spirits Awards and Best American Blended Whiskey at the Heartland Whiskey Competition.

One of my favorite bourbons to drink is Woodford Double Oaked. It was my inspiration to create Whiskey War Double Oaked, which quickly became a fan favorite. I love seeing how each batch yields a slightly different flavor, but still stays true to the base notes of Double Oaked. Whiskey War Barrel Proof is the base spirit. The second aging really balances out the barrel proof’s spice with the sweet, oak notes.

750ml | 50% alc/vol | 100 proof

Flavor: A rye-heavy mash bill who’s nose is dominated with oak and caramel. Your palate enjoys heavy oak notes that are sweet on the front and still end with a hint of pepper. An overall sweet, earthy, and smooth experience that is easy to drink at 100 proof. This product is usually blended at around 2.75 years old and then spent another 16 months in a new oak barrel, for a total age of 4+ years.
