Our goal is to create an elevated experience with every product we produce. Starting with 100% organic wheat, we add and distill local fresh pressed Ohio apples to finish the spirit used in our handcrafted High Bank Vodka and Statehouse Gin. Our Vodka has a noticeable sweet finish and our Gin is an American style with a strong blood orange aroma that overshadows the typical juniper/pine notes found in a classic gin.

Our passion for bourbon is what started it all. We are a grain-to-barrel-to-bottle-to-glass bourbon producer. Since before opening our doors in the Spring of 2018, we have been perfecting our recipe in small batches and you can expect to see our made-from-scratch High Bank Bourbon hit the shelves in 2020, after allowing it the proper time to age and achieve our desired flavor profile. To give ourselves the luxury of fully aging our in-house bourbon, we have created a custom Rye Whiskey blend. It took us almost a year of sourcing and testing barrels from across the country before we were satisfied and found the right combination of flavors for our unique High Bank blend that we are proud to call, Whiskey War.

HIGH BANK VODKA

When Ohio forged plans for the state capital, the area known as Franklinton was a primary consideration due to its close proximity to the water and pre-existing infrastructure. After much consideration, they concluded the risk of flooding was too great. On February 14th, 1812, the Ohio state legislature accepted plans to lay out the capital, now known as Columbus, on the High Bank, opposite Franklinton, at the fork of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers. We have taken the same uncompromising approach when selecting the premium wheat and Ohio apples in every bottle of Vodka.

HIGH BANK STATEHOUSE GIN

The history behind the Ohio Statehouse is fascinating and immersive. It would take almost 23 years to complete, in 1861. High Bank Statehouse Gin will not take that long to create, but the same craftsmanship and attention to detail will be expressed in every bottle.

FLAVOR PROFILE:

Citrus forward aroma and flavor with strong juniper and blood orange notes. Distilled from, organic wheat, Ohio apples, and infused with juniper berry, blood orange, cinnamon bark, angelica root, bitter orange, coriander, lime, & anise.

HIGH BANK WHISKEY WAR

Prohibition is said to have started just 12 miles from our High Bank facility. In 1875, Henry Corbin took a chance and opened a saloon in an area known to strongly oppose the consumption of distilled spirits. Not once, but twice, the saloon was blown up. It was said before the first explosion, he came outside to address the protesters with two pistols drawn. That single act is believed to have ignited the “Whiskey War” of prohibition and launched the Anti-Saloon League. Unique batches inside our expertly blended whiskey wage war with each other and your taste buds come out the victor.

FLAVOR PROFILE:

A rye-heavy mash bill that has a hint of pepper spice on the front and an overall smooth and sweet experience for the palate. Aged no less than 2 years.
